New Golden Mile

The New Golden Mile is a coastal area that falls within the municipal boundaries of Estepona and extends between it and San Pedro Alcántara, the little town five minutes west of Puerto Banús and Marbella town. It is an area of beachside resorts and suburbs, golf courses and country estates.

The main residential and tourist focus in Estepona is set along its eastern extension, the coastal area known as the New Golden Mile. It is here that you will find beachside villas and apartments sprawled among the chiringuito bars, seafood restaurants and beach clubs, in areas such as Costalita, El Presidente and Benamara.

Just across the coastal road lie suburbs such as Monte Biarritz, El Paraíso, El Pilar, Benavista and Belair, where communities first developed in the 1970s and 1980s are dotted amid pine trees and along the Gary Player-design golf course of El Paraíso.

West of the little country village of Cancelada you will find one of the greatest offers of newly built contemporary villas and apartments – along with their accompanying golf courses – in La Resina, Selwo, Cancelada, Belair and Costalita.
